Sicklinghall (the nook of Sicil's people) is a small village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, 3 miles west of Wetherby and about 14 miles north of Leeds. Harrogate is around 7 miles away. In 2007 the population was recorded as 300.

The main amenities in the village are St Peter's Church, The Scott's Arms (pub and restaurant), a village hall and a primary school. The most recent OFSTED assessment graded the school as "good" and its popularity is such that many children travel from Wetherby to attend.

The village is surrounded by open countryside and several farms. There is a network of footpaths and bridleways which makes it a popular centre for walkers, riders and cyclists. Hillcroft Riding Stables are nearby, about 1 mile west of the village on the road to Kirkby Overblow. The village also has a cricket team playing in the local Wetherby Cricket League. The ground is situated at the top of the village, the club having moved from nearby Stockeld Park in 2002.
